The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 established a three-tier redressal system and introduced e-filing through the e-Daakhil portal.

## Pecuniary jurisdiction District Commission: up to Rs 50 lakh. State Commission: Rs 50 lakh to Rs 2 crore. National Commission: above Rs 2 crore.

## What to include A statement of the complaint, supporting documents, the relief sought, and the requisite fee.

## Timelines Complaints should ordinarily be disposed of within three months where no expert analysis is required, and five months where it is.
